Free Tickets for Residents of Oud-Zuid

Thank you for visiting this page. We are grateful to all those who voted for us in the Buurtbudget Oud-Zuid, securing much needed funds to help us through these difficult times.  To show our gratitude to residents of Oud-Zuid, our plan was to offer some free tickets, but unfortunately the RIVM restrictions forced us to re-schedule the shows to March 17th - 21st 2021.  The COVID situation is still changing rapidly. Once we have more insight in early 2021 on what the restrictions are for March, we put in place a new reward for residents of Oud-Zuid. Thank you again!

Why we need funding now

Current measures mean that audiences must be socially distanced. To do this, we have worked out a plan with CC Amstel to perform in the round. Even so, we can only fit a 30 seats in a theatre for 200 people - a big loss of ticket revenue. For audiences though it means being intimately close to the action, whilst still safely 1.5 metres apart.

The Amsterdam Zuid Buurtbudget allowed residents and businesses to apply for funding that benefits locals. As part of our successful application we want to bring people back to what we love - live theatre, in a safe way.
