For SMILEY you could choose an immersive, 'promenade' ticket onstage. These audience members became 'extras' in several scenes - for example in Alex's bar, as a guest at his birthday party and were truly immersed in the atmosphere of the Barcelona scene. Alternatively you could choose to sit in the usual auditorium - choosing your seat on arrival.  All ticket holders enjoyed live music and entertainment in between the two acts. You could separately purchase drinks from Alex's onstage bar and buy authentic Spanish food. See also CATERING. (This show does not have numbered seating).

Doors open 45 minutes before curtain up so that you can relax and have a drink in Alex's Barcelona Gay Bar - Bar Ber - in the actual theatre. If you want to eat before the show please arrive early! It is not permitted to consume food during the show.

For just €10 you can also enjoy a generous portion of Alavasca's freshly made Tortilla and Empanada, finished off with their signature dessert - their fabulous Basque Cheesecake. Two days before your show, you will receive our Welcome Email so that you can pre-order your food. The €10 includes all three dishes! Booking Fee to Weeztix - €1.15

Smiley is a gay romcom and as such includes some elements you'd expect - some strong language, sexual references, comedy, romance and, of course, some non-gratuitous nudity. On Netflix it is age guide 12+ so as a live show we would say 16+.

The expected running time of SMILEY is 90 minutes plus a 30 minute interval. Doors open 45 minutes before curtain up so that you can relax and have a drink in Alex's Barcelona Gay Bar - Bar Ber! Before the show you can also enjoy food and drinks in the actual theatre - please see CATERING above.  For start times please see your tickets. 

Your tickets were sent to you in the email you received straight after booking and payment. Normally these are in an attachment at the bottom of the email. You can bring these on your phone or print them out.  If you have booked seated tickets, you can choose your seat in Front Rows A to C when you arrive. For SMILEY seat number are not allocated. In general we are not able to refund tickets. However, if a performance is cancelled owing to a change in government regulations you will receive an automatic refund or be moved to a different performance.This may have to be for a different, future show. If you have already booked and decide yourself that you want to change the show you are attending, please first email us. For technical reasons, related to Weetix, we will then need you to book online for the new date and time. As soon as we see you have re-booked we will refund your original booking. Please allow up to 5 days for the refund to reach your bank account. IDeal refunds usually take only 2-3 days.  If you choose to attend a cheaper show, or then book fewer tickets, we regret that we do not refund the difference owing to the extra administrative costs incurred. We regret that we are not able to refund the €1.15/ticket booking fee to Weeztix. This is because Weetix does not refund booking fees. For any performance, for practical reasons,  we are not able to guarantee the appearance of a specific performer. z

The CC Amstel is fully accessible for wheelchair users. For  those with reduced mobiility, for SMILEY we recommend you book SEATED tickets and on arrival you will be given a place in the Front Row A. If you can, please email [email protected] to let us know any special requirements so that we can be on hand where necessary and make your visit as pleasant as possible.  This show does not have numbered seating.
