Booking Guide under Social Distancing
Talking Heads is going ahead! Whilst the 1.5m rule is being observed though, we have chosen to create a new 'in the round' seating plan. A new raised stage has been created in the middle of the audience. You must use the option Buy on Map when booking your seats. Please then select adjacent seats (circled in red) and do not leave adjacent seats in that group empty. All seats have unrestricted view. There are only 30 seats per performance.
The blue seats are in the normal, raised seating rows. Seats are available to book in blocks of 1 or 2. The yellow seats are extra seats on the large, flat stage-side area. These seats are already placed in accordance with the 1.5 meter rule. Seats are mostly in pairs adjacent to each other horizontally, vertically or diagonally. For example:-seats K5 and J6 must be bought together. If you only need 1 seat you should choose, for example A19 or O3 (subject to availability).
J16 & K17 are next to each other.
N5 & M5 are next to each other.
YOU MUST use the button Buy on Map when booking your seats. Please do not leave adjacent seats empty when choosing your places. If adjacent seats are left empty, for your safety, we will move you to the best seats available, ensuring the 1.5m rule is still observed. Thank you for working with us to get through slightly more complicated times! If you need help, please email us at bookings@Qetc.nl If you have already booked and have a query, please email customerservice@Qetc.nl
The Queen's English Theatre Company performs at the state of the art CC Amstel, a 154 seater, which opened in September 2018. This modern building is spacious with a huge stage, so allows easily for social distancing.
The theatre is at the recently developed Cullinanplein 1, at the Amstel River end of Tolstraat:

Getting to the CC Amstel
Talking Heads consists of two acts.
Act one is A Chip in the Sugar.
Act two is Bed Among the Lentils.
Running time is approximately 2 hours, including a 20 minute interval.
The CC Amstel is fully accessible for wheelchair users. If you can, please email customerservice@Qetc.nl to let us know your requirements so that we can be on hand where necessary and make your visit as pleasant as possible.
The CC Amstel has a great bar and café serving food and drinks, including vegetarian options, in the spacious foyer area. (During social-distancing catering provision may differ. We will inform you just before your visit).
In general we are not able to refund tickets. However, if a performance is cancelled owing to a change in the RIVM regulations relating to COVID-19, you will receive an automatic refund. If you need to change when you want to attend, we always try to allocate tickets for another performance. Please email us at customerservice@Qetc.nl.
