Lucia Alvargonzalez - plays W


Lucia is a Spanish actress, singer and creative based in Amsterdam, with working credits in both New York City and Madrid.  In 2021, she graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy of New York. This is Lucia's second show with QETC, the first being QETC's 20th anniversary production, CABARET (2022). Her musical theatre credits include Antonia in Man Of La Mancha (2022), Alejandra in Triangle Cruise (2022), Emma in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (2019), amongst others. In theatre she’s been part of productions such as The Flogsta Scream (2021), Tirant Lo Blanch (2018) and A Midsummer’s Dream (2017). She’s also directed, produced and starred in several student productions as well as cabarets.



Charlie Bird - plays M

Charlie graduated in English from the University of Leicester in the UK, settling in the Netherlands following a year abroad at Leiden University. Charlie fell in love with acting at a young age and hasn’t stopped since, acting across the Netherlands and the UK. Previous roles include Picasso in Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Don in The Universal Language and Doug in Pillow Talk for Downstage Left . His work for QETC earned him top reviews, namely for playing 40 roles per show in the 2019 and 2021 runs of their comedy spoof, The 39 Steps. Charlie is excited to return to Endless Second and take on the challenges and rewards such a play has to offer.

Mark Winstanley - Director


Mark's acting and directing career began as a child, training with Manchester Youth Theatre and LAMDA. In 2020 he was lead voice actor and dialect coach on the NETFLIX feature film The Forgotten Battle (Slag om de Schelde). In 2021 he appeared in a new TV drama series for VPRO, The Spectacular as a BBC journalist. A founder of QETC, in 2019 he appeared in both Scary Bikers and The 39 Steps. He reprised this last role and directed its revival, gaining top reviews, in November 2021.  In autumn 2022 he achieved a 40 year ambition, directing QETC’s 20th Anniversary production of the musical Cabaret. The show was a big success with audiences and critics alike. He has directed many times for QETC, including their modern, gay adaptation of The Importance of Being Earnest

Ties Jansen - plays Bruno


Ties Jansen is a Dutch-American actor, director, dramaturg and writer who has worked extensively on- and off-stage in both America and Europe. NYC stage credits include Welcome to the Wood: A Midsummer Night's Dream , I Do Believe In Fairies , and This Is Our Youth . Amsterdam credits include playing Billy Flynn in Chicago, Herr Schultz (u.s. Cliff Bradshaw) in Cabaret (also for QETC), Chip Tolentino in ...Spelling Bee  and Rich in the Netherlands debut production of Be More Chill.  Ties is also currently on tour with Zin in Zappelin Live (Bazar Media Productions). Training: BFA Acting (Minor in Film Studies) at Pace University School of Performing Arts (NYC).



Rodney Giano - plays Alex

Rodney is an Amsterdam-based Dutch actor and singer/performer of Surinamese origin. He has worked in theatre, film and as a teacher. Past productions/roles include The Chosen One, (The Hague, Jan van Opstal and Hildegard Draaier), Moritz Stiefel in Spring Awakening (Rotterdam, Cormack Burmania), Masetto in Mozart's Don Giovanni (Rotterdam, Carla van Driel) Nachtparade (Stopera Amsterdam, Marjan Barlage and Sassan Saghar Yaghmai), and Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake (Rotterdam, Carla van Driel), Marieke van Nimwegen, (Maastricht, Aram Adriaanse).
